Test center
The ZETO testing center is one of the largest testing centers in Russia and is a powerful testing facility that allows testing high-voltage equipment not only of its own production, but also of other Russian enterprises. The testing center includes five laboratories specializing in the following tests:
- high-voltage;
- thermal;
- mechanical;
- climatic;
- testing of protective devices.
The types of tests can be classified as follows:
- research tests of models
- qualification — testing of samples of new equipment before putting into mass production;
- periodic — tests of serially produced high-voltage equipment in order to confirm the stability of the technology and the quality of the products.
ZETO’s testing center is accredited by the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology for technical competence, that is confirmed by the Accreditation Certificate, that gives the right to perform certification tests of high-voltage equipment and testifies to the technical equipment and high level of personnel training.
The development of cooperation between the Test Center of CJSC «ZETO» takes place with leading Russian and foreign test centers and laboratories, such as: FSUE «VEI», JSC «STC FGC UES» Moscow, «NIIVA» St. Petersburg; KEMA Netherlands; CESI Italy. Successful test performance , including testing abroad, confirms the high reliability and competitiveness of high-voltage devices developed and manufactured at ZETO CJSC.
Highly qualified and well-trained personnel are of great importance in the successful operation of the test center.
The laboratories employ 44 employees, including testengineers, electricians and engineers. Particular attention is paid to the qualifications of test engineers. Thanks to cooperation with leading industry institutes, the specialists of the ZETO’s Testing Center have been constantly improving their technical level in various educational institutions throughout Russia.
In 2014, on the basis of the test center, a new high-voltage test hall with an area of ??1100 sq. m was constructed.
In 2015, the state-of-the-art equipment was installed — a 1200 kV AC resonant test system manufactured by HIGHVOLT. With the help of this testing station, the plant can test equipment for voltage classes up to 500 kV inclusive, and after the upgrade of the station — up to 750 kV.
